Mike suggested a look across the road at the creative crafts workshop that he thought may be suitable for our needs.
The workshop was a good start as there was lots of
industrial looking fixtures and fittings although it was cluttered as a space
and did not look like a food preparation area. Upon seeing it we were very
interested.
As we were over this side of the square Mike suggested that
we look at the Photographic studios also. Studio 2 was a good size and would be
a great space to work in but did not look very industrial as a space.
Studio 1 was very much like the goldilocks effect and just
right. As soon as I saw it I knew that we had to use it. The walls are lined
with Galvanised Steel Sheeting , the same material as the hopper is made from.
The wall space beyond the steel was painted white and was a bigger lighter
space than studio 2.
We booked studio 1 and we managed to arrange access from 4pm
Wed (Set and props delivery), Thurs (construct set, shoot and disassemble set),
to 12:00 Friday (remove set and props, tidyup)
